Crittenden Middle School update Crittenden passed all required inspections and reopened on Dec. 1. The damage from the explosion was limited to two related arts classrooms. These classes were moved to other areas in the building. In preparation for the students' return, all surfaces were cleaned, the air in the building was filtered, and the affected area was secured.
Scholastic Book Fair Crittenden Library will hold their annual winter Scholastic Book Fair December 14-18, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. in Room 615. The library uses the book fair proceeds to replace lost books, fund reading promotions, and to purchase much needed equipment.
Earn money for our school Don't forget to save your Farm Fresh receipts and "Box Tops for Education." Also, "re-link" your Food Lion and Harris Teeter cards, and sign up for a Target Red Card (credit or check card) and enroll in "Take Charge of Education."
Middle School Athletics Basketball was successfully introduced into the Middle School Athletic Program last spring, and this year two new sports will be added: Boys' and girls' track in the fall and boys' and girls' volleyball in the winter.
