ACCELERATED READER MANAGEMENT

Login
  1. Click on the A.R. Management Icon.
  2. The password is admin.
   
Creating Classes
  1. Click on the School button.
  2. To create your classes, click on Classes.
  3. Click on New to create a new class.
  4. Fill in the New Class dialog box to create your first class.
  5. In the teacher box, click on Assign Teacher and then New.
  6. Type your name into the New Teacher dialog box and click OK.
  7. Click Ok to close the New Class box.
  8. To duplicate the class, go to the Go menu and select classes.
  9. Go to Duplicate and the Duplicate Class Assistant will start.
  10. Make sure you change the name of the the new class.
   
Adding Students
  1. Click on the School button.
  2. To add students , click on Students.
  3. Click on the Add button and the New Student dialog box will open.
  4. Type in student name.
  5. Leave ID blank.
  6. Use the Student's school I.D. number as the password.
  7. Click O.K..
  8. Repeat to add other students.
   
Enrolling Students
  1. Within the School environment, select Classes.
  2. Click on the class that you want to enroll students in.
  3. Click the Enroll button and the Enroll Students dialog box will open.
  4. Hold down the Open Apple key while selecting the students you want to enroll into that particular class.
  5. Click on the Add button (not Add all) to enroll students into your class.
  6. Repeat with the other classes.
   
Changing a Student's Password
  1. Open the Accelerated Reader Management Program.
  2. Type in admin as the password.
  3. Click on the School button.
  4. Click on the Student button.
  5. Find the student whose password you want to change and highlight his/her name.
  6. Choose Edit.
  7. Change password.
  8. Click O.K.
